Based on the outskirts of Maidstone we are seeking the following;

Business Administrator

The position is currently 5 days a week on a part time basis 5-6 hours per day would be required from 11-4 or 5 pm. This may progress to a permanent full time role.

You will need to be adaptable and flexible, in supporting a hardworking and friendly team. The role would suit a candidate used to working in variety of areas but will include assisting with purchase order processing and reception duties. The successful applicant will have good admin/customer service skills together with good IT skills; a knowledge of Sage Line 50 is essential. Due to the location own transport is essential.

The main duties of the role are:

  • Ambassador for the company on the phone, email and visitors to the office.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
  • Hosting visitors –clients, supplier reps, couriers – they all need to feel welcome.
  • Procurement using Sage line 50 – Relationship building with suppliers , Obtaining quotations, assisting with order requisitions from sales dept. Placing orders with suppliers within Sage Line 50, checking deliveries, dealing with returns and chasing orders. You get to see the start of the process to the finish.

  • Fleet Management – keeping the client on the move.
  • Health& safety – keeping paper work up to date.
  • Typing occasional letters and filing.

Electronic Security Systems – Installation Engineer

We are seeking experienced Electronic Security Systems Engineers.

Candidates must be competent in at least two of the following areas: IP CCTV, Access Control Systems, Intruder Detection Systems, Fire Systems, Automated Gates & Barriers.

Industry recognised training is available, to enhance your skill set as required and you will be working with a team of friendly and knowledgeable engineers.

You would be preparing, installing and commissioning the latest technology, carrying out fault finding, service calls and travelling to many different locations in the South of England. You will even get to stay away on occasions. Dinner is on the company! As the ambassador of the company your role is an important one and advising clients and solving their problems is essential to the position. You will be supporting the client service and sales team with your important client information and technical abilities.

A clean driving licence is an advantage, however security clearance is essential.

Trainee Security Systems Engineers

This role would suit candidates with a background or interest in electronic security, computer technology and IT applications.

Previous experience beneficial but not essential as industry recognised training will be provided, following a successful trial period. You will learn from an experienced team of friendly engineers, installing the latest technology, fault finding on service calls and travelling to many different locations in the South of England. You will even get to stay away on occasions. Dinner is on the company!

Previous experience of ladder work and use of tools will suit this practical position. A clean driving licence and own transport required, due to location of their rural country office in the Weald of Kent. Security clearance is essential.
