The simplest example of a control system is an user control input device connected to an output unit ie. a motorised Radar CCTV camera. Most systems are pre designed for a simple 'plug and play' method which allows any level of engineer to install a simple small functional security system. The complexity and professionalism arises when the input device needs to operate many different multiple output units along with the availability to synchronise multiple input devices operated via multiple registered users, all connected to the same group of output units at any requested time. This is when a simple plug and play configuration doesn't have the options and reliability to maintain a consistent operation.
